The draw for the 2010 DealsDirect.com.au 17/U and 19/U National Championships in April is now available on the Netball Australia website.

The playing schedule features two age groups, played from April 7-12 at ETSA Park, Adelaide.

Hosted by Netball South Australia, the Championships will pit the nation’s best up and coming netballers against each other for a chance at the converted title, as well as a spot on the 17/U and 19/U Australian squad.

With so much at stake the stage is set for a tense and exciting contest.

Until last year, the 17/U Championships have been traditionally dominated by teams from Victoria and New South Wales with the two states not dropping a title since 2002. However a classy South Australia broke an 11-year 17/U National title drought in 2009, defeating VIC in an epic Grand Final by two goals.

In the 19/U division, 2009 belonged to NSW, winning the Championship for the second consecutive year defeating Queensland in the Grand Final. However to go three in a row they will face tough competition from seven other states hungry for Nationals glory.

The 21/U National Championships will be held in Queensland from September 29 – October 4.
