Lindsay Press – New Marketing Manager for Netball WA

NetbAll WA announces the appointment of Lindsay Press to the position of Marketing Manager effective 12 November 2009.
Lindsay, a recent arrival to Australia from England, has over six years commercial marketing experience including her most recent role as Marketing Executive for Land Securities Plc – a FTSE 100 company and the largest Real Estate Investment Trust in the UK.
Lindsay has an extensive netball background having competed in the UK Super League with Brunel Hurricanes. She started playing at an early age and has represented her county and won two premiership titles at National Club level.
“I am delighted to be joining the peak netball body in my new home town,” Lindsay said.
“This is the first opportunity for me to combine my passion for netball with my professional career, and I hope to be able to enjoy ongoing success in both.”

Lindsay has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Chemistry with Physical Education and Sport Science, and a CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.
“We are looking forward to the marketing expertise and netball insight that Lindsay can inject into Netball WA,” commented Scott Henderson, CEO of Netball WA.
“This is a critical role in our organisation, and Lindsay’s experience and capabilities will be of great benefit for the sport in WA.”
