Due to a lengthy and unsuccessful trade-marking process, the Drug and Alcohol Office has changed the title of the alcohol education campaign from Rethink Drink to Alcohol.Think Again.
The new title Alcohol. Think Againwas tested among members of the community and the research found that Alcohol. Think Again achieved the following:
- Was the most clear message and it was specific and targeted towards alcohol. - Is directed at everyone in the community. - Suggests that drunkenness affects everyone in the community one way or another. - Suggests that everybody in the community should be working together to address the issue of drunkenness. Please note that work conducted previously under the Rethink Drink brand is still relevant, as the objectives of each program are still the same, it is only the name that has changed.
