RULE CHANGES

At the International Federation of Netball Associations Congress held at the World Netball Championships in July 2011, the IFNA membership passed a number of changes to the Official Rules of Netball.

Please find attached a memo from the National Director of Umpiring explaining the new rule changes.  New rule books are available now from Netball Australia.

The rule changes will also be covered at the Smarter than Smoking State Netball League Briefing on 14 February 2012, at the Netball WA Squad and State Academy Umpires at the Smarter than Smoking State Netball League Preseason Umpire Workshop on Sunday 19 February and for all during the Regional Umpire Development visits.
